What is CrossFit?
CrossFit Uplift, at it’s core is a strong community of like minded people who inspire, encourage and push each other to work hard, and be today better than we were yesterday. On a larger scale the CrossFit community does the same, with the ‘CrossFit games’ competition, daily workouts (WOD) posted online and educational articles compiled by the industries top minds in the ‘CrossFit journal’ (CrossFit Games).
CrossFit Uplift sessions are lead by qualified coaches, focused on improving your technique daily and drive you to become your best in a safe training environment.
All CrossFit workouts can be scaled to suit all ages and fitness levels.
CrossFit sessions are typically full body workouts using practical exercises to build total body fitness & strength, for now & for life, we use only functional movements chosen specifically to mimic and improve your everyday living. The results from your commitment to CrossFit can be phenomenal!

How do I start?
It's easy! Just come in and see us, call or email us about getting started and we will arrange a time for you to start your first Crossfit Tech session.
As Crossfit can involve some technical movements such as the Clean and Jerk, Snatch, Muscle ups and powerlifting movements like squats, deadlift, bench, and press before you start we like to you complete 3 tech sessions. These tech sessions are with a qualified coach whom will show you these movements and help you find a scale for your level before you get into it!
